Products Description
FRP pressure tanks are fiberglass-reinforced plastic pressure vessels. This series covers models from 3068 to 4872. They are widely used in high-flow filtration and softening projects.
The inner lining of large-diameter vessels is made of glass fiber reinforced composite material (GFRP), while the inner lining of small-diameter vessels is made of thermoplastic material, manufactured through a blow molding process. The outer layer is made of glass fiber and resin, manufactured through a winding process.
This structure offers high pressure resistance and corrosion resistance, ensuring stable operation in long-term industrial applications.
INK-BLUE's 3068 to 4872 model pressure tanks basically have 4-inch and 6-inch openings, and are designed with double openings at the top and bottom for convenient piping configuration.

Production Process
Inner Liner Production
The inner liner is made from food-grade polyethylene (PE).
It is produced as a seamless one-piece liner.
This process eliminates welding joints.
It ensures excellent leak resistance and chemical stability.
The smooth inner surface prevents scaling and contamination.
It is suitable for potable and industrial water applications.
Filament Winding & Reinforcement
High-strength fiberglass strands are continuously wound around the PE liner.
The winding angle and tension are precisely controlled.
This structure provides high mechanical strength and pressure resistance.
Additional reinforcement layers are applied to stress areas.
Especially around openings and bottom sections.
Temperature-Controlled Curing
After winding, the tank is cured under controlled temperature conditions.
This process allows the resin to fully cross-link.

Proper curing ensures consistent performance.
It also enhances resistance to aging and deformation.
Opening Machining & Assembly
After curing, openings are precisely machined.
Threaded or flanged connections are installed as required.

Pressure Testing
Each FRP pressure tank undergoes pressure testing.
The test pressure is higher than the normal working pressure.

Packaging
Qualified tanks are cleaned and inspected again.
Protective film is applied to the surface.
Foam and cushioning materials are added.
