Why does a 4'' FRP Vessel Tank need the bottom opening as well?

Wastewater Discharge: The bottom opening allows quick discharge of wastewater and flushing fluid, helping remove accumulated solids and restore filtration efficiency.
Easy Cleaning & Maintenance: It enables fast cleaning, chemical dosing, and convenient media replacement or system inspection.
Device Connection: The bottom port provides space to connect devices such as pressure relief valves, auto drains, or monitoring components.
Better Flow Distribution: Bottom inlet design improves horizontal flow distribution, reduces channeling, and enhances overall filtration performance.

Quality Assurance & Certifications

Quality Inspection:

Before leaving the factory, we conduct three quality inspections. These are:

hydrostatic test

Each FRP vessel tank must undergo a hydrostatic pressure test of 1.2 times the rated pressure.

fatigue test

A fatigue test of 100,000 cycles was conducted to ensure the durability of the tank.

Explosive pressure test

More than 4 burst pressure tests were conducted, with the test pressure being 4 times the working pressure.

FAQ

Q: What Water Treatment Scenarios Are 4'' FRP Vessel Tanks Suitable For?

A: Primarily for pre-filtration, including industrial boiler water softening, electronics pure water prep, food factory raw water turbidity removal, and chemical/acid-alkali wastewater treatment. Model selection depends on flow rate (1.5-11m³/h; refer to the technical table).

Q: How To Choose Between 1665, 1865, And 2472 Models?

A: Focus on flow requirements:

  • 1.5-3m³/h: 1665 (small-scale);
  • 2-3.5m³/h: 1865 (medium factories);
  • 3.5-5.5m³/h: 2472 (medium industrial projects);
  • 6-11m³/h: 3072/3672 (large factories/parks).

Q: Is The Bottom Port Mandatory? What If Not Installed?

A: Optional, but recommended for large-flow systems (>6m³/h). Without it, wastewater discharge must be done via the top port, reducing efficiency; long-term operation may accelerate filter media performance decline.

Q: Is The PE Liner Safe For Food Industry Use?

A: Yes. The liner uses food-grade corrosion-resistant PE, complying with food contact safety standards, making it suitable for food factory pre-filtration (e.g., beverage/dairy plants).

Q: What Happens If The Working Temperature Exceeds 49℃?

A: Operation at ≤49℃ is advised. Prolonged overheating may accelerate resin aging and affect pressure resistance. Custom high-temperature models are available for higher temperatures (e.g., 60℃).
