The SS RO Membrane Housing is a fundamental component of the reverse osmosis equipment. It is made from 304 stainless steel. It is categorized based on the sealing form of the end cover into clamp type, flange type, and built-in type. The length of the housing is determined by the number of reverse osmosis membranes it accommodates. The 4-inch and 8-inch membrane housing is available in seamed and seamless types, both of which are constructed from SUS304 stainless steel. They are sealed at both ends with ABS heads and silicone O-rings, providing high sealing performance and long service life.

Packing list of SS RO Membrane Housing
Both 4-inch and 8-inch membrane housings are made of cold-rolled seamless stainless steel pipes and stainless steel end caps, polished inside and outside, without dead angles and weld scars. The pipe mouth connection method generally adopts a quick-release chuck type, which is sanitary and has no dead angles. It can also adopt a flexible joint form. The surface treatment can be mirror polished or brushed matte.
The end caps and pipe mouths are connected by quick-release chuck type, equipped with high-pressure clamps, which are easy to disassemble and install, simple and practical. According to the water inlet and outlet methods, there are two types of side-mounted and end-mounted. The direction of the side-mounted pipe mouth can be 180° on the same side or 180° on different sides.

The complete set of 4-inch membrane housings includes 1 membrane housing, 2 end caps, 2 clamps, 2 fixing belts, 2 membrane pads, and 2 sealing rings.
8-inch membrane housings
The complete set of 8-inch membrane housings includes 1 membrane housing, 2 end caps, 2 high-pressure clamps, 2 fixing belts, 2 membrane pads, 2 sealing rings, and a multi-core assembly with thrust rings.
Different install type of SS RO Membrane Housing
In the SS Membrane Housing, Quick install type, Flange type, and Build-in type are different installation types or installation methods, and their meanings are as follows:
1. Quick install type
Quick-install type RO membrane housings are usually designed to facilitate quick assembly and disassembly. This design usually includes an easy-to-operate clamping device or connection system, which can quickly replace RO membrane elements or perform maintenance, saving time and labor costs.
2. Flange-type
Flange-type RO membrane housing design has flange connection for flange connection with the piping system or other equipment. Flange connection usually provides a more stable connection and is suitable for applications requiring tighter sealing and higher pressure resistance.
3. Built-in Type
Built-in RO membrane housing usually refers to a membrane housing with some components or functions integrated inside, such as a built-in pressure gauge, built-in drain port, etc. This design can make the RO membrane system more compact and neat, reduce external connectors, and improve the overall performance and reliability of the system.
