UF Membrane 4040

The UF Membrane 4040 from our PVC series is a pressurized ultrafiltration membrane module that utilizes high-quality imported PVC raw material. 4040 is a very common size in ultrafiltration membranes. With its long service life and precise filtration capability of 0.01 microns, it offers exceptional performance for a range of applications.
The PVC material used in the membrane module provides excellent rigidity, allowing for the creation of thicker hollow fibers. This design enables the membrane to withstand high working pressures, making it ideal for inside-out working mode.
The inside-out structure is particularly well-suited for treating raw water with low turbidity and suspended solids. In this mode, contaminants are effectively rejected within the hollow fibers, eliminating dead angles and facilitating easy cleaning.

Protection of ultrafiltration membrane components

• 1: When installing outdoors, attention must be paid to antifreeze, sun protection, and vibration
• 2: When the membrane assembly is installed on the rack, the silicone gaskets on the water inlet and outlet must not be removed. Wait until the water is passed through the commissioning to prevent the membrane from drying out due to the loss of protective liquid during installation
• 3: When using for the first time, please open all valves and flush for about 20 minutes to flush out the protective liquid in the membrane until the water is clear and free of foam
• 4: When not in use for a long time (more than 7 days), please fill the ultrafiltration membrane assembly with protective liquid to prevent the ultrafiltration membrane from losing water and causing a decrease in water production. (Formula of protective liquid: 1% sodium metabisulfite + 10% glycerol + 89% RO reverse osmosis water or ultrafiltration water)
