NF 40 membrane, also known as 4040 nanofiltration membrane, is an ultra-low pressure aromatic polyamide composite membrane element used for surface water and groundwater desalination. It can achieve the same high water flux and high desalination rate as conventional low-pressure membranes under extremely low operating pressure conditions. Its operating pressure is about 2/3 of the operating pressure of conventional low-pressure composite membranes, and the desalination rate can reach 99.5%. This reduces the investment costs of related pumps, pipelines, containers and other equipment and the operating costs of the reverse osmosis system, and improves economic benefits.

Membrane Features:
- High desalination: The desalination rate of seawater desalination membrane is as high as 99.82%, and the desalination rate of anti-fouling membrane is as high as 99.7%.
- Pollution resistance: Change the charge and smoothness of the membrane surface, increase hydrophilicity, and reduce the attachment of pollutants and microorganisms on the membrane surface.
- Low pressure difference: 35mil special water inlet flow channel, more uniform water flow distribution, can significantly reduce the system pressure difference.
- Larger membrane area: 440-480 square feet of membrane area, 10-20% larger than the traditional membrane area, can effectively increase the water production of a single membrane.
- Extremely low operating pressure: A stable water production can be obtained with an inlet pressure of 0.48Mpa (70psi)
- High temperature resistance: The conventional tolerance temperature is 45℃, and the special separation membrane can withstand a high temperature of 85℃.
- Acid and alkali resistance: The cleaning PH range is 1-13, and the cleaning is more thorough.
- Strong antioxidant ability: The bottom of the support layer of the membrane has high pressure resistance, a thick and dense cortex, and is resistant to chemical degradation and wear.
