How to maintain a polypropylene filter?

Regardless of the type of filter element, it must be regularly maintained and serviced. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Check the O-ring first, then seal the cleaned filter element and place it flat in the sealing groove.

2. Remove the packaging bag, cover the meltblown filter element regardless of top/bottom, tighten the lifting ring and tighten the bolt.

3. Open the vent valve on the top of the shell.

4. Open the inlet valve a little, let the liquid enter the shell until the liquid flows out of the vent valve, and close the vent valve.

5. Slowly open the outlet valve, and then slowly open the inlet valve.

6. Rinse each 10" filter element at a flow rate of 250L/min for 5-10 minutes.

7. The filter element cannot withstand large flow impacts, nor can it be subjected to heavy pressure in the reverse direction.

8. If the pressure difference is greater than 0.15Mpa or the flow rate drops significantly, it indicates that the filter element is clogged. The filter element can be removed and the outer wall of the filter element can be rinsed with clean water at a pressure less than 0.2Mpa.
