The SS Bag Filter Housing is a robust, high-performance filtration solution engineered for industrial and municipal water treatment systems.
Constructed with seamless stainless steel (via high-frequency resistance welding) and featuring a polished, burr-free interior, it ensures corrosion resistance and durability in harsh environments (pH 2–12).
Available in 13 models (e.g., SBF-1D-4S to SBF-20D-2S), it supports flow rates from 10 T/H to 720 T/H and filtration precision down to 0.5 microns (via compatible filter bags).
Designed for flexibility, it offers three installation types: Single Bag Clamp Style (quicker for small systems), Flange Loop Style (medium-flow industrial use), and Flange Swing Bolt Style (high-pressure, large-flow setups up to 1.0MPA).
Ideal for petrochemical processing, wastewater treatment, and beverage production, it integrates seamlessly with standard #1/#2/#4 filter bags, delivering efficient contaminant removal with minimal maintenance.

Note:
1: The numerical units of the dimensions in the above table are all in millimeters.
2: The above models are standard. In addition, we also accept customized models.
3: In the model, D represents the number of filter bags, and S represents the model of the filter bag. For example, 2D-2S means that this filter housing should be equipped with two #2 filter bags.
4: Standard filter bags include #4, #1 and #2. The size of #4 is Φ105×380; the size of #1 is Φ180×430; the size of #2 is Φ180×810.
Detail features
Large flow, small resistance, and high filtration efficiency

The filtration accuracy is high, up to 0.5 microns, suitable for all kinds of fine particles, and can be used repeatedly after cleaning.
The joints of the tank body are welded with high-frequency resistance seam welding, which is seamless, has no burrs, no rough spots, and can withstand greater pressure.

Interface classification and installation method of SS bag filter housing
SS Bag Filter Housings are usually divided into three types in terms of installation methods: Single Bag Clamp Style, Flange Loop Style, and Flange Swing Bolt Style. The following is a detailed explanation of each type:
Single Bag Clamp Style
- Structure: The single bag clamp filter consists of a stainless steel bag tube and a clamp. The bag tube is fastened to the upper part of the filter by the clamp to form a sealed connection.
- Installation method: By loosening the clamp, the filter can be quickly opened and closed, which is convenient for bag tube replacement and maintenance.
- Scope of application: Suitable for applications with smaller flow rates and less stringent process requirements. Commonly used in laboratories, small industrial equipment, and low-pressure systems.
Flange Loop Style
- Structure: The flange loop filter has a stainless steel bag barrel and a flange connection part. The bag barrel is connected to the upper part of the filter through a flange to form a sealed connection. There is a lifting ring at the bottom of the bag barrel for easy installation and maintenance.
- Installation method: By loosening the flange bolts, the filter can be opened for bag barrel replacement and cleaning.
- Scope of application: Suitable for applications with medium flow and high process requirements. Commonly used in liquid processing, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields in industrial production.
Flange Swing Bolt Style
- Structure: The flange swing bolt filter consists of a stainless steel bag tube, upper and lower flanges, and swing bolts. The bag tube is connected to the upper part of the filter through the upper and lower flanges to form a sealed connection. The swing bolts are used to tighten the flanges.
- Installation method: By shaking the swing bolts, the filter can be easily opened and closed, and the bag tube can be easily removed for replacement and cleaning.
- Scope of application: Suitable for applications in large flow and high-pressure systems. Commonly used in liquid filtration, water treatment, and petrochemical industries in industrial production.

FAQ
Q1: What filtration precision does the housing support?
A: It is compatible with filter bags rated 0.5–200μm, with precision determined by the selected bag. For fine filtration (e.g., 0.5μm), use a #2 bag (Φ180×810mm) for optimal particle retention.
Q2: What's the difference between Flange Loop and Swing Bolt styles?
A: Flange Loop is for medium-flow systems (18–36 T/H) with frequent maintenance needs, while Swing Bolt suits high-pressure (1.0MPA) and large-flow setups (≥72 T/H) requiring secure, leak-proof sealing.
Q3: Can it handle acidic or alkaline fluids?
A: Yes. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in pH 2–12 environments, making it suitable for chemical processing and wastewater treatment.
Q4: How to calculate filter bag replacement frequency?
A: Replace when the pressure differential exceeds 15PSI (or every 2–4 weeks in standard industrial water). High-sediment fluids may require weekly checks.
Q5: Is customization available for non-standard sizes?
A: Yes. Custom diameters, flow rates, and port configurations are offered for specialized industrial applications (contact sales for engineering support).
